CHANTILLY, Va. – December 29, 2021 All Traffic Solutions awarded Shield 12 radar speed signs to Chester Police Department in New Hampshire and Danielsville Police Department in Georgia through the company’s ATS Gives Back initiative.

Over the years, All Traffic Solutions found that police departments in smaller communities have a need for All Traffic Solutions signs but lack the necessary funds and do not qualify for grants. The ATS Gives Back goal is to bridge this gap. Each month the All Traffic Solutions team selects two police departments to receive radar feedback signs free of charge. ATS Gives Back recipients also receive a subscription to TraffiCloud®, All Traffic Solutions’ patented traffic device and data management system.

Chester is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, with a population of just over 5,328 residents. Although the Chester Police Department—which is comprised of 13 sworn officers—proactively enforces speed limits, the department still receives many speeding complaints. Chester Police Department plans to use the Shield 12 sign and TraffiCloud to help resolve these complaints and prioritize enforcement.

“By receiving our Shield 12 sign, we will be able to more effectively slow traffic down, and also collect vehicle traffic and speed data. This will allow us to identify where we should focus our motor vehicle enforcement efforts.” said Sergeant William Sable of the Chester Police Department.

Danielsville is a small city in Madison County, Georgia with a population of approximately 600 residents. The Danielsville Police Department is comprised of 3 sworn officers, and they plan to use the Shield 12 sign to reduce speeding on a local roadway that leads to a church, bank, and high-traffic roundabout.

“We are greatly appreciative of being awarded a speed sign under the ATS Gives Back program. [The sign will] be used to alert drivers to their speed on a roadway that we receive frequent complaints on. With the sign up and operational, we have seen drivers making an effort to slow down.” said Danielsville Police Chief Cleveland Williams.
