From time to time, the City receives calls from people concerned about
the number of vehicles speeding through their neighborhood streets.
It can be difficult for traffic enforcement to assess the situation
because, with the City's limited resources, an officer cannot observe
the streets involved for an extended period of time and they cannot
be sure a speeder will drive by when they are in the area investigating
the potential problem.

Saskatoon is getting a speed alert trailer to monitor how fast drivers
are going. The Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police (SACP)

Township. Three SPEEDsentry monitoring devices were recently purchased
by the township and installed on roadways throughout the area. SPEEDsentrys
can perform a variety of functions, such as tracking vehicle speeds
and providing traffic study data such as vehicle counts, recording
average and maximum speeds and the time of day speeding occurs.
