Most of us have the best of intentions and would prefer to help where we can. Unfortunately time is limited and all too often, so are funds. As a company, we recognize that we are the largest single consumer of our employees' time and, typically, the largest single income source. All Traffic Solutions has therefore chosen to make it easier for staff to contribute back to their community by providing both the time and sponsorship when employees choose to participate in charitable events. Some of the worthy causes we have recently helped include:
United Way Day of Caring: The United Way Day of Caring, which is run by the Centre County United Way, is a day-long event during which improvement projects are done on non-profit agencies, youth recreational facilities, historical sites, with the involvement of thousands of volunteers. All Traffic Solutions believes that stronger communities enable greater opportunities and contributes to this goal by every year offering any employee who wants to participate in this project the additional paid personal day to do so.
2007 - Boal Mansion (Below)
In 2007 the staff of All Traffic Solutions performed various maintenance projects
at the Boal Museum and Mansion in Centre County. The Boal Mansion, a National
Historic Site has been home to nine generations that have shaped the history of this
community. The original family funishings and buildings are still here after 219 years.
2008 - Centre Crest Nursing Home 2009 - Centre Crest Nursing Home
In 2008 and 2009, All Traffic Solutions again volunteered their time to the United Way Day of Caring. Last year ATS employees and management did gardening work and planted over 300 flowers and bushes on the grounds of Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte, PA. In 2009 the staff painted and stained outdoor furniture and spread mulch. Centre Crest has been providing exceptional short-term and long-term nursing care and rehabilitation services for over 65 years. The residents at the home were thrilled with their beautiful courtyard and will enjoy the new colors for seasons to come.
Walk MS. Central PA 2008: Many of us have friends or family affected by Multiple Sclerosis. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicaed to ending the devastating effects of MS. They simultaneously fund research for a cure while also helping people who currently live with MS lead more fulfilling lives. All Traffic Solutions is proud to have tied for first for fielding the largest team in our local 2008 fundraising walk in State College, PA and ranked #3 in the total amount raised.
